在《漫威蜘蛛侠2》中有诸多彩蛋，其中一个彩蛋致敬了加菲版《超凡蜘蛛侠2》中最痛心的场面-格温之死。
在游戏世界的圣三一教堂外部，有一个时钟，其时间永远停在了1点21分。这对应电影中蜘蛛侠在教堂拯救摔下的格温时失败的剧情，那时时间也停在了1点21分。同时，在漫画中，格温也是在第121期死亡。
